M8 153 or 162

I'm just about to step up to a 2010 M8 snopro from a 2002 summit high mark, I ride equally in the mountains around the Revy \ Valemount areas and trails in northeren AB. Can anyone give advise on whether I should buy a 153 or a 162

For the revy area id say go with the 162 but for every where else the 153. With the smaller track and open areas where speed is key i think youll do better. The 162 really shines in the trees in deep fresh pow.

how do153 and 162 compare when for boondocking? They both serve there purposes on days when its deep. The best option is what you like to ride and your weight. We go to cooke allot and I think the 162 would be perfect if you like to climb and sidehilling.

Go with 162. These M chassis handle well enough that I have never felt much difference maneuvering a 162 vs a 153. If you are coming from your 02 summit you will lay it over on its side a few times before you learn that it doesn't take that much effort to throw an M around.

162

Right on! Another Fort Mac with a M8!
Go with the 162, you'll be happy. It's just too darn cold to ride enough here to justify a shorter track. I made it out 1 time locally last year and we all have 162's.
Where did you buy yours from?
I'm picking up my 2010 162 Sno Pro on Friday in La Biche.:beer;

163 wins out

Thanks to all for the advice, I will pick up my M8 162 at la biche
right after the sno show in Edmonton next weekend. Yea she's cold up here in Ft mac (where is this global warming) good thing the mountains are only 10 hrs away:beer;
