M7 pipe with Rkt head

Just wondering if anyone had any luck running a single or twins with a Rkt head without a controller for EFI?

I think you are going to have to run an EFI controler if you are going to run both a head and a pipe.

You should skip the pipe and go for boost or an M1000.

I ran all last winter with two 06 M7's with rkt heads and they both had bikeman pipes and cans. not one problem, I'm sure everyone remembers how rich the 06's were. Even with these I still had to turn down the oil pumps because they were still too rich.

I ran my 06 M7 with RKT head (13.6-1) and SW pipe/can combo, no bubbles no troubles

I too had an RKT head(14:1), a SW pipe, Slp can, and no controller at 6000-10000 feet for two years. I have taken off the pipe in favor of the stock pipe, it seems to run better without the pipe, just the RKT head, and SLP can.

I will probably do nothing, will be a few years before I will upgrade again, obamanomics is not working out.
