M7 BOGGING PROBLEMS. How to stop it!

power valves

my friends did the same as yours and steadily got worse and he also runs a can but it ended up being the setting on the power valves they are to be set at so many mm's. can't remember the number but ask your dealer.

i have a 06 m7 with a d&d can with no bog at 1500 ft. the guy i bought the can from said his had a mid range bog until he got an slp air horn.

Dont forget to overlook a worn out bushing on the inner main (or outer) sheave on the secondary. Could be clutching just as much as anything to do with the motor. Seems like primary and secondary clutches with 3k or more hard miles are prone to start showing goofy worn out symptoms such as this.

34.5mm from the inside of the lead ball to the end of the cable housing.

Another vote for SLP, if you don't run stock

I have a SLP on my 06 M7. I have no bogging issues now.

I had a Sno Stuff Rumble Pack and it bogged pretty bad in the same scenario you mentioned.

The SLP I am running now is real close to the stock can, if not better. As somebody mentioned above, make sure the seal is good.

Hope that helps....
