Went on a 3 day backcountry trip. The first day went to one of my powder stashes and found epic powder. 4-5 ft of light Wyoming talcom powder. I have never taken that big of face shots in 18 years of riding. Waves of snow over my head. Jump off your sled and you sank to your arm pits
Anyway, the M1100T did well, BUT, I had some bogging issues, especailly after taking the huge shots. Later that night I really inspected the intake and found what might have been the issue. I kept the vent on the top of of the left side clear of snow (harder than you think in that kind of powder), but I had never noticed that there were vents on that intake on the side and under it. These were jammed with snow. I think the M1100 T needs ALL of the vents clear to run right. When bogging, she felt like she wasn't breathing and this was probably it. Ran fine the next two days. Mine is stock except for a Speedwerx can.
So, the moral is, if you are in super deep powder and you start bogging, make sure the side and underneath vents are clear on the intake as well as the top one.
