M1000 Twisted Turbo Pump Gas Turbo

We have found the Timbersled vent kit :

http://www.timbersled.com/VentingKits.htm

along with a vented Headlite Elimintaion kit has been the key to resolving this. Clutches stay cool to the touch & you can actually grab the belt, even in deep powder & really getting after it.....

BDX has one available now I believe....

We tried other things in the past, however this seems to take car of the problem.

I assume it keeps the powder out?? The mesh looks pretty big in the picture. I have always run a florite in the shock tower, but this definately looks like more air!!

It does keep the snow out. We have been riding in 5-6 feet of powder the last four days. Dry under the hood, clutches cool, & no belt issues.

The heat release works great! I think the combo of cool air continually running OVER the clutches from Timbersleds kit & any under hood hot air is release through the Headlight Elimination kit is the ticket. It makes for a good draft affect under the hood.

We also use the Timbersled intake kits which recycle fresh air every 4 seconds normally without any venting & adding in these mods with this set up the sleds seem to really run good.

We run a different elimination kit than the BDX one. Our elimination kits are entirely all screen. We purchased our kits before BDX came out with theirs. However, BDX's does look like a nicer fit & finish than ours, that is why I put that particular link for people.
