on a m chassis there is a place on the front of the skid were it bolts to the tunnel were you can drill a second lower mount hole from the inside will i do any good to drill the lower hole and move the skid down

You have to be careful with the m sleds as they have a shallow approach angle already and if you were to do that, you might want to put a wheel kit on it so you don't speer the track.
