Fixing Skid angle on MOD Phazer

Picked up this Phazer to start doing a light mod build to learn and play around with. I am having an issue with the angle of the skid/rails. When the sled is on flat ground the front of the track is about 1" off the ground. When I remove the limiter strap and the front shock the skid drops closer to flat but still not fully. Sled has a rear lift on it and lift blocks on the skis. I am guessing the solution to this issue would be to lower the front of the skid in new mount holes. Looking for input on advice and suggestions to fix this issue. Also is anyone able to identify this skid??

That attack angle is pretty atrocious. I would try to move the whole skid back. Drill holes for the front mount further back and may need to build new drop brackets that angle back towards the rear of the tunnel. After that you may need rails with a flatter profile at the front to get your desired results and reduce trenching

Thats a stock Phaser skid with extension brackets. I would do what bnorth said and move the skid back an inch or so to lessen the attack angle. dropping the skid down would just increase the attack angle and trench worse

You can see if a drop and roll is an option to help with the angle of attack but I agree with moving the skid back and maybe cut down the lift blocks in the front suspension. The tips of the rails look pretty close to the drivers too. You might have to experiment a little bit with that setup to get it balanced out.
