M Series Side Panel Vents

Just wondering Who makes The best vents for the M Series (M1000). Looking for the longest lasting, best looking, at a good price. Was thinking of making my own, but probably less time involved in buying. Any Info??

Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not being an azz but search for this topic. There were several threads about this last season, and you will find a lot more info there. A lot of people only post during the winter. Is probably faster if you just look it up. But 2cool makes great vents or you can make your own from some pet screen. I made my own, cut a frame out of a sheet of alum. and covered it with mesh that I bought for $18 a yard at a tent an awning place in great falls. Remember to back the clutch side with prefilter or something to keep snow out.

Well not to be an azz back, but since it's summer, alot of people have nothing better to do than answer my thread. So even if it has been answered, and i've probably read the thread already, i just felt like starting a new topic and getting some new answers. Threads get duplicated many times, and this one hasn't been posted in a while. So thanks for your post and putting me back up top.

BDX has them for $60 and xxmodrods.com has them for $80, I just bought a set from a member on here (Snowstar) that appear to be very high quality. I will let you know when they arrive in a few days.

We have them too.

We offer side vents for the M sleds, they are strong aluminum frames wrapped in mesh material - prefilter on all clutch side vents to prevent ingestion of snow into the clutches. We offer black, gray, white, orange, green, blue, yellow and red - some with matching rivets the others with black.

We back our product 100% and will do whatever we can to ensure that our customers are more than happy with their vents, but more importantly, with their dealings with us - there are enough companies out there who don't answer phones and emails - we strive NOT to be one of them!

Our price is $125 for the pair with mounting hardware. We are offering free shipping in the lower 48 and $12 shipping to Canada if ordered by August 31.

See some of the pics and check out the other vents at our website: http://www.2coolairvents.com.

:) 2fun

Wow, I really was trying to help you out. I guess the thread that was posted on July 3rd about this same topic was to long ago for ya. TTT since that seems to be your goal!!:beer;

I put on the louvered vent side panels from boondocker. Little expensive at$200 but at least i know no sticks are going to get jammed inside. www.boondocker.ca East to install with a angle grinder,drill, wrenches and some aluminum tape (muffler side) for added protection. Haven't blown a belt since. I have pictures, just don't know how to put them up. You can paint them as well
