M-10 vs EZ-RYDE

I have had several M-10'S. They work well in the rough stuff and they seem to be average in heavy snow. I know little about the EZ! Could someone share some info on the subject? Thanks

They work great in big bumps and for climbing. They do a fantastic job of getting up on top of the snow rather than chainsawing through it. They're nice and light too.

The only knock is they like the track to be real tight.

The track does not have to be super tight, the difference is when the skid is unloaded vs loaded. When you tighten the track to normal tension specs, and then sit on it, you notice it loosens right away. The misperception is that due to the way the suspension sits unloaded it needs tons of track tension to operate properly.

On all your other points, they work like no other skid I have ever been on. No comparison to the Holz unit I had and it makes the M10 I had look pretty bad. The nicest thing I have noticed is the flat approach angle makes starting and stopping in deep snow tons easier.
