LTS Mar. Snow Report

Just got home and snow melted big time today. There will be some dirt riding to get there. Hope thats all right? I have some beer drinken buddys coming out.
 
On the way home tonight it started snowing at Perazzo hard. Dumping big time right now. I"ll have an update in the morning. Maybe winter not over?

3 storms coming in thru 1 April no fooling.

Total water amount be at least 4 inches around Tahoe

Snow levels for first storm now thru 26th is 5500 feet.

No confidence on where the snow level starts fri-sat storm and Sun-Mon

Suppose to have at least a foot by late Thursday early friday .. flurries then several feet snow Sun - Mon

Right now ESTIMATES state 6 plus inches water from TAHOE TO SUSANVILLE happening now to April 1st.

Amount drops off pretty fast south ... east and west Going northeast from Susanville it increases and peaks around SHASTA at 8 inches water dropping now to April 1st.

Estimates state 2 inches water 31 MAR thru 2 April 2 INCHES in a 48 hour period MON-TYues.

Grand 7 day total estimates for now 26 MAR to 2 April

Tahoe area is 8.5 inches H2O
Shasta 9.2 inches H2O
Oregon east 6.0 inches H2O
McCall ID north 4.5 inches H2O to 3.3 inches to BC
West Yellowstone 4.5 inches H2O
SLC 1-2 inches H2O
Colorado 2 inches H2O
Seattle area 5 inches H2O

Estimates are INCREASING water amounts

Tahoe area now over 9.5 inches by 3April next thursday
 
Gonna be some options to go to N. of 80 it seems, especially if more comes !

BIGGEST DUMPAGE IS SUPPOSE TO BE 2 inches H20 next 24 hours then flurries

NEXT 1.5 inches H2O TUES - WED 1-2 APR

Specific for TAHOE
 
Ya never know, Steve. You still might have to put the tracks on the Rubi before Ma Nature calls it quits.

It's 60* and blowing like hell here in town.
 
It's been snowed hard all day. We got a good foot at the house. I like that sound. The snow's a little heavy down here but up top it should be great. Been to Perazzo twice today and the Jeeps working hard. If this keeps up we'll be snowmobiling in.

Things look a little different than what it was like back on Friday(21st). You're front yard looked like a used car lot with all the rigs parked out front that day. All that white sure looks good. Did you track the Rubi yet? Might see you later in the week.
