Low fuel pump pressure

what sound does it make when faulty? had a buddy with us on his brand new polaris (first ride on it) and it sounded like an old car with all the squealing noises it was making.
That's most likely the pump, pull the fuel cap off and if the noise gets louder then you'll know. Mine fooled me into thinking it was more of a belt squeal but it wasn't

Just got word that parts are finally in, they replaced the full tank assembly with pump included. I have heard from another reputable Colorado builder that they are running into some assembly issues like listed above. I'll be testing this weekend. Make sure your dealer plugs in your dash to see if the low fuel pressure warning isn't flashing already.

Planning to call the dealer tomorrow but think i had the same issue - 165 Matryx NA

Started up fine but then midway through day, higher elevation (8k feet) and warmer temps than normal (ambient was 50) and sled was running up in the 130s-140s most of the day due to temps and firm snow.

Heard a whine noise that only happened when on and was much louder with the fuel cap off. Also a faint smell of fuel in the air when I’d stop. Didn’t seem to have any running issue (maybe a bit weak on power) and i thought i saw an engine code come up but then it was gone and never came back.

Has this lead to full on break downs to people? ANyone else smell fuel?

When mine did it I also smelled fuel. Dealer told me to keep riding until a code

Did yours end up throwing a code and keeping a check engine light on?
No didn’t get a code and didn’t pull timing. Ride after it didn’t happen at all. Ticking clock but w/e - sled rides incredibly

Been watching this thread as well as the boost thread for a few weeks now. I picked up a 850 Matryx NA a few weeks ago and every ride I've been out on (4) it has kicked out the "Low Fuel Pressure Power Limit" code along with the check engine warning light and the sled goes into limp-mode. This happens multiple times per ride. As some people have noted the sled seems to be fine in the morning but once I've burned through a bit of gas the pump gets noticeable louder and the problems begin. My last ride I got back to the truck with over half a tank of gas so I wasn't by any means close to being out of fuel. I tried the springs in the fuel socks this past ride and it did not help. When I had the fuel pump assembly out I checked the items in that Team Tips document - everything was good there. I'm no expert here and a very recent Polaris convert but I don't see this being a heat issue. At this point it seams to me that it's an issue with the pump itself, maybe a bad seal somewhere that is letting air in once the pump is no longer completely submerged in fuel. I'm going to go drop this off with a dealership and try out the warranty process. Good thing I still have my old sled.

Has anyone tried a Quantum / highflowfuelsystems complete pump? They list one on there website. My 2022 850 fuel pump officially failed last weekend.
