Low fuel pump pressure

Im getting a low fuel pressure code on my 22 NA 850 display thats derating the power, i also can hear something whining, perhaps the fuel pump, anyone else experience this?

Seems to be a common problem. Buddy is getting his pump replaced. Few others as well.

When I saw the message for the first time (today) I was out of fuel at 40 miles on my Boost (It was deep and I'm addicted to the power).
Added 1.75 gallons from RotoPax and I was back in business.

Did u hear a whine from the pump? I was still over half full.

Not when it first ran out.

Then I barely made it home on fuel— I could hear pump when I pulled up to my transfer tank. Once I refilled tank, I didn’t hear it.

Chatted with 2 dealers and thier getting calls about the same issue. Was told its a different pump vs the axys chassis and thier in short supply

Yes the 2022 Matryx chassis NA sleds seem prone to fuel pump problems/failures/noise/pressure drop. Different fuel pump than Axys, yes. Also different from Boost.

Jason, have u had many failures at the shop? If so, whats turnaround time for parts?

I have a NA 850 with electric start. I am having a hard time trying to get it started after it has sat for anything over an hour. Really hard to start after it has sat all night. I have to give it some throttle to get it to start. I actually drained the battery the first time to get it running. Sometimes the starter disengages before it starts and sometimes just turns over and nothing. I am going to take it back to the dealer but wondering if this is possibly a pump issue also that maybe some of you have experienced?

My bud's 850 matryx NA wouldn't start yesterday after a 30" pull up to a ridge top. We pulled and pulled and nothing. Almost seemed electrical.

But we finally pulled while the other held it wide open and got enough gas to get it running again. Today it's started 20 times without issue.

Something to keep an eye on for sure.

Unlikely the hard starting is the pump. Give it a tiny bit of throttle while pulling if it does flash after a couple pulls. If holding it wide open solved the issue, he had flooded it.

The main symptoms I’ve seen for a pump on the way out are noise (very noticeable) and starving for fuel. Haven’t seen one leave anyone in a pickle yet, as those issues seem to present them well before it gives up.

Different pump from a 2020, yes.

Is this normal for polaris to have to give it a little throttle while turning over? Does something need to be adjusted?
