Lost RPM what else could cause be on 600CFI

My max RPM on my 2008 Switchback 600 has dropped from 8300 down to 7900 why???

I have so far replaced TB boots (this is when the problem showed up) after the change, fuel filter, VES bellows and gaskets, and rebuilt primary clutch (thought that was the problem when I found a pooched roller and weight that was binding).

Tried buddy's secondary that has stock helix and changed by +100 RPM.

Anything? Could it be loss of compression causing that drop. Sled runs perfect and such, should I just put lighter weights in and carry on presently has stock 64's....

Only other thing is maybe VES solenoid is screwed any way to test that?

ya, thought about springs.....but tried a complete different secondary and no change....also marked primary and seems to be fully functional....

I am thinking I will put lighter weights in primary to bring revs up......presently seeing top RPM of 7800-7900 with 64's.

Any recomendations? I have a set of 10-60's or should I get a set of 10-62's?

Run the 62's, I think those are stock. 8300 is overreving, 81-8200.

came stock with 64's as it is a 2008 Switchback 600 CFI.

By dropping to 62's from 64's how much should that change RPM? I presently have an EPI Silver in the primary 165/300.....so if i try the 62's and still am shy RPM could also put the EPI yellow in as i have one 165/310....am I thinking correctly here?

also I am geared 22/40 with a 136" X 1.5" Intense track.

changed weights to 62gram. have yet to test it. what are feelings on the spring thing above? also when changing the weights i noticed quite a bit of side to side play where the weights mount is this normal?
