Looking for the best bag/gas can options for my SKS

I don't like to wear a backpack, ride mostly in the Maine backwoods, and am looking for the best solution for a good size gear bag and gas can option. I keep a fair amount of spare gear (ax, snobunje, spare gloves, goggles, tools, etc.) , and need a bag with some room, and hopefully a quick shovel access. Curious what you guys are using.

Mountain Addiction and Polaris underseat bag work for me.

Mountain addiction.

No contact of the bag with the paint.
Just the plastic rails.
Keep that tunnel looking good.

Same here for mountain addiction gas can and bag, had the set up on my 1100t in 12-13 then my 14 pro 14-15 and now my axys. Just bought different mounting for the polaris keep using the same gas can and bag. After each ride I remove the bag a bring it in side.

Take a look at the Powderkeg series, have integrated storage and fuel cells, along with built in shovel and safety tools.

Mountain addiction stuff is great for about the first half season. After that it starts falling off on rollovers and every time you have to ride moguls. (But i forgot, half the guys on here seem to think they never have to ride trail. Must just heli drop their sleds onto the mountain). The zippers on the MA bag aren't the best either. If your forget to manually vent your gas cans, especially the 3.3 gallon, they will warp and not go on the rails. Many of my riding buddies and myself ran mountain addiction for quite a few years. There are very few of us left running it. It is the best looking setup on the market, but just not the best mounting system for me. Check out the sled solutions tunnel bags.

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of their bags either. Just aren't very roomy. I like the Lg Burandt bag but it doesn't look like there's enough room for a gas can.

I see Sled Solutions has a rigid mount for their E-Series bag. I am interested in this, but have yet to see it mounted on a sled.

I have been running MA for years and have no complaints. I use the gas cans all the time and agree the bags are not the best but do often use my small MA bag. I used the burandt bag last year and while the quality was high, it was just too big for me. I may use my old sled solutions bag since I always liked that one.

Did anybody mention mountain addiction? I frequently roll my sled over and do occasionally ride crap trails to get to the riding and mine stay on just fine!!!

I used my 3.3 gal can on my 4 wheeler all summer and it fell off once. I ended up selling it and am going to get the 2 1.3 gallon cans instead hoping they will warp less being smaller.

I had much better luck with the 1.3s than the 3.3.

Hopefully that's the case, I hardly use mine, only when I go out west. Most of my riding is done in the UP and extra gas is not needed for the type of riding I do. I feel much better heading out in the mountains with extra fuel.

I have a rail mounted gas can holder that works great. However, I quit using it since the Pros (11 and 13) that I owned did not need extra fuel for the type of riding that I was doing. I could not see why I should add weight to the back of the sled when I didn't need it. A hard day of riding in the Idaho backcountry for me still leaves me with enough leftover fuel in the tank. I can see needing it if you are putting in 75+ mile days but less than that and you probably don't need it.
