Third week of December I'm going to be traveling from Silverton, Co to Alpine Wy. Looks like I will be getting on 40 west to 191 heading north. Going to have a day to kill, anywhere along this path I can stop and do some riding?

Skyline above Fairview is HARD to beat !!! There is a small motel in Fairview or you are3 only about 5o minutes from the Provo area with plenty of lodging options and even a "small" amount of night life. And yes, that highway over the mountain is open all winter. Shoot me a PM and I am sure a few of my crew would love to come show you around for a day.

Plenty of places to choose from. I would wait and ask again that week to hit the place with the best snow, that will be a big difference depending on storm track.
