Looking for Edge rolling chassis

My wife sent her sled down a hill into the trees,
and I think the insurance guy is going to call it totalled.
So I'm thinking of getting the sled back from the insurance company and dropping her motor and what ever into a rolling chassis.
Hers is an 05 RMK 600 144
What do you have in the Boise Idaho area that will work?

Sorry to hear about the sled bud. Hope the lil' lady is ok and not too shaken up by this. I do have a pristine 01 700 RMK 151" stocker with a MBRP can laying around. Motor has 490 miles (never been touched or rebuilt) and chassis has like 2000 miles. She's a peach.....:beer;:beer;:beer; for you.

She's good Brian.
She got bounced off the sled and it went down with out her.
The 01 is a definate posibility,
She's stuck on the not wanting anything older than what she had type deal though.
I think that if she actually sees something nicer though.

Good to hear she didn't ride it in. Will be up on Cat Crick tomorrow doing some test and tunes on various sleds and riding somewhere Saturday if Renee would be interested in it, she could take her for a spin. Need to warn you though, I'm betting if she sees it and rides it, you'll be dragging another sled home on your trailer.....:D

Maybe,
I found an edge chassis that would be nice with her seat tank and motor,
Let me run her options by her.
Her biggest thing is that she's going from an 05 model and doesn't want to go older.
Makes is hard for me, but I don't blame her either.

Darn Darren this one already got promised to someone else. Would have been perfect.

That's great bud, whatever works for you, works for me. Just throwing out options for you.

Here's some pics.
This is exactly how it was when I rode it out,
except the air box was still in place.

The pics don't show it, but there is tunnel and bulkhead damage.
The steering hoop and post are bent back, the list just goes on.
It's definately going to cost far less to do a rolling chassis package than to repair and replace everything on her sled.

Here's the new chassis I've decided on.
It's an 03 Verticle Escape chassis,
So it has the better steering post, the lighter weight trailing arms,
A polished tunnel on this one,
and then some one added an 8" big wheel kit with just the inner wheels like on my Dragon,
A new 156" track, new Edge rear skid, Clear tank, a few other goodies.
Still going with Mtn Fit Hood I think.
It will be a really nice custom for her when it's done.

It's a lot of track for her little 600,
but there are some things we can do to make that all work well for her.
We can gear it down, single pipe, and clutch it to where she can get just about any where she wants, just not as fast.
110 horse rated motor when set up that way will work, but barely.

how much did you have to spend for the chassis im interested in an edge chassis to put a 925 rotax tripple in i already have moptor mounts and pipes that will fit in the edge so if there are any out there im interested maybe could even fix your 600 have fixed some prety bad wrecks on the frame rack and welded up the bulk heads an info would be nice thanks

The 600 isn't that bad.
Definately needs a belly pan and hood.
Left side front suspension needs replaced.
Tunnel/bulkhead are salvageable, You can see the steering post and hoop are bent up, so They are done.

That all being said, there are a lot of good things on the 600
It's an 05 RMK snow check 600
Rear skid and track are great,
Seat and 1 of the tanks will be on the other sled, the remaining tank with the 600.
Her motor plate, motor, air box, primary/secondary, and small parts to make her sled work will be put into the new chassis,
Her speedo and gages. I like keeping that with the motor to know exactly how many miles etc on it.
but then the rest can be sold for not too much money.
Shoot me an offer, we can most likely work something out.

Oh ya, I'm in Boise.
That might make a difference
