Hello snowest, i just bought a new 2010 phazer mtx and love it. its nice and nimble and fairly good in snow, however, i want that extra power the turbo will give me. i was looking at the mxpress turbo kit. How well does this sled engine hold up to the turbo and how reliable will it be? will i blow my engine? and how much will it cost (approximently) to buy and install the turbo? thanks snowest!

They quit making the turbo kit for the phazer. You are better off to buy a nytro mtx or xtx. Cost to turbo a phazer with everything you need will run you $7-8000 installed roughly. just my .2 cents

I have a friend that has three of them with the McXpress kit and he loves them. Two of them had fuel regulator issues but those are both part of the stock system and not with McXpress. He doesn't like the Nytro chassis and the phazer is a better fit for what he likes to do. He bought one kit new and the two others used off Ebay. One had been installed on a show room sled and the customer wanted the sled without the turbo so the uninstalled it and sold it discounted.
