Looking for a nice town with awesome riding.

Good thing you're cute girl :D Got Mike talked into a turbo so he can keep up this year? You need to put him on Mag's just once...He'll be hooked;)

Guess I won't talk about the turbo I just ordered. He needs to at least keep up with me. ;);)

problem with kenai/soldotna is them guys with them loud *** sleds...not to mention..they put something in the well water down there as well that makes all the kenai riders become the kenai krazies....they will take you places that you absolutely positively know you shouldnt be....another good place could be valdez...world class riding as well........hard to go wrong most anywhere up here really...

Not only are they loud but then you have to help him tear the pipe's off and use the ol' duct tape and bubble gum trick to get the sled back to the garage to fix the holes in the pipe's. Thank goodness you had a spare recoil rope or he would still be up on squirrel flats wondering how to get home.. I don't know if he really appreciates you Mike.. I really don't.. I bet he never paid the bill for the rope and the emergency repair time..

I am heading down next week for some Halibut fishing and I bet he is going to want money for gas and for me to catch his Halibut and clean them for him.. I feel sorry for the ol'fart

oh good, when he's not paying attention..kick him in his sore spot and tell him its from me...thats ok the interest that I am getting on those repairs is astronomical..he just didnt read the fine print....you boys be safe this weekend...and have some fun....

I agree w/ AKSNOWRIDER, Valdez is awesome. Great riding and the BEST silver salmon runs in the state (in my opinion), along with some great salmon shark and halibut fishing. But it isnt quite as populated as you may be used to.

As far as being not as populated. im from wyoming and live in a town of 500 atm.

Valdez can be great. It is more isolated than you will think even though the population higher than were you are. The cost of living Valdez is also very high. They do have a hospital there, so there is a chance of a job for your wife, and you should be able to find work there as well eventually. Beautiful area and I have worked there. I don't know if I could live there though.

I don't want to know what you went out with 3 dates ago in that case

3 dates ago?..well crap that was with you..haha.....and dougy, and robert, and johnny ..lmao..night big guy...keep it up...who's been riding a keyboard all summer....

You been hijacked by the locals & their dramatic relationships. You conld consider the idea of renting for a period of time and look around the state before committing to any significant purchase. LiveAlaska is right, lots of places to see. All of them have their strong points as far as location, employment possibilities & recreation access. Of course the more you have to spend the better location and housing you will get
