Im looking at putting the Avid chaincase on my pro rmk and would like some input from guys that have put them in there pro's. Im going to go to the 174x3'' track. Id appreciate any help or if anyone has some install photos.

The chaincase is the easiest drop and roll case you will ever do. The bearing carrier that he sends on the clutch side bolts to stock holes and then you use your bearing retainer on driveshaft to mark out the outline and cutout so the retainer will fit flat against new aluminum bearing retainer. Case mounts to the two stock front holes. You will have to do a little triming for the case down low and drill a couple of holes. Then fab up a chaincase gaurd. Avid also has some metal plates that you can bolt on to your rear suspension plates for when you relocate the suspension all points need to be down and back 1". I have done two of these cases on both of my sleds have a 163 turbo and a 155 and not any problems.

Another company will have a chain case for the Pro's out in about a week with step by step instructions and photos. Pm me and I send you pictures when they tell me it's okay to release them. Watch for a write up in Snowest.

Info..

I installed an Avid chaincase from Fastrax also along with the Avid drivers. Order an antistab kit for your rails when you order the case unless you want to trim away on your plastic pieces on the front of your rails. If you want to get a better approach angle and don't want to move your front suspension hole down 1" I made a bearing set up to replace the bent piece that keeps the track from making contact with the top on the front shock.

Thanks, thats what I've been looking for. I'm going to order up mine this week from Avid.
