im browsing around looking for potential sleds. i know 2013 dropped weight, quik drive, seat, and CF over structure. anything change from 2011 to 2012? im kinda on the fence about new leftover 2013 600 or find a used 2012 or 2011 800. any thoughts?

Coming off your 160hp cat, the 800 pro is going to feel a little soft. They are clutched really well out of the box but IMO I wouldn't even consider a 600.
Btw I have a 12 Pro and it feels like a well clutched 09 M8.

I actually really like the snappyness of the 600 and I'm unsure of the reliability of the 800. That is why I'm considering it

went with a pair of 600's for same reason ... coming off a Nytro at sea level to 3000' I posted to see what differences to expect between 600 & 800's ... seemed to be about 50 / 50 split

I know around here there is almost a $2500 difference in price on a new model. For my '15 snocheck I'm debating going to a 600 and slapping a turbo on it

I'm not looking for 300hp, but somewhere in the range of 200-220 sure would be nice

That's actually not a bad idea.

But look out for those who will say if you're going to do that, then just go with the 8.

I have one of each, unless you are a HP junkie or always ride in the deepest snow or steepest climbs, I think most people would be plenty happy with the 600. It just flat out rips. I was actually amazed the first time I rode it, you just have to think it and this thing does it. Very noticeable difference between the two. I'll be the first to admit that it doesn't have the instant grunt that the 800 does, but it'll do just about everything the 800 will do aside from extreme cases.
