Looking at doing BMP 660 big bore kit

I don't have first hand experience with BMP's 660 kit but I've had a couple of Carls Cycles 660's (2007 and 2012 RMK's). They make a great product and have excellent support . With that said, if I were to do it over again, I would just upgrade to a 800 from the start.

I have rode several Carls Cycle 660 sleds and they rip!! They have that kit 100% dialed! Wouldn't think about having it done by anyone else.

I agree...My wife had one and a buddy has had 4 (still has 2) and another buddy has one.

The 660 is a good stable design regardless of who you buy it from. BMP and Carl's are both good company's. Very easy to install and requires very little playing around. The only issue is they are still a small displacement motor and I feel lack low end torque. For a light weight rider its a big improvement. The 660 is far better than a 600 however I'm not sure for the money, it's not worth just going with a 800 and being done with it. I ended up moving the 660 into my wife's sled and putting an 800 in mine. Just my 2 cents.

I got a case ported carls cycle 660 and it just works awesome period. Its a true pull the rope and ride sled. I would do a 660 again without any hesitation, this is my second one now. had 2 800s and went back to the 660. way more fun to ride. will out shine a stockish 800 all day with the riders being the same size. the 660 dosent have the torque but i am a smaller rider 155lbs so prob don't notice it as much as larger rider would.

Try RKTek 660 Instead

Hey, im considering doing the 660 Big bore kit on my 2012 RMK 600, just looking to see who has done them out there, if its worth it or not? let me no what u guys think.

I bought a Polaris 660 from rktek. His kit produces some more power than what I've seen on other kits. Last ride of the year we got some uphill drag runs in against the 155" axys and the 660 rktek pulled it. Sled just rips on top end.
