Gen II ski and tight circles, absolutly. I just installed the twinaxis mount on my gen ii ski and got to ride it once with it then had to crate it up for shipment to MT for hawkfest so the jury is still out on wether I like it or not.
I have a 136' polaris track that I cut down and contoured that I took off when I installed the 151" track. I'd probibly let it go for $150.00 and I could bring it with me to hawk fest.

using the tracker plates that came with the ski from simmons.

:o *gulp* I would keep it a secret, but I cant afford to buy his. PM Buffalo, he has one of those tracks for sale. Let me know if you need extensions, I might know where some are.

I have the regular dual carbide ski and pivot mount, original nonreverse trail adapter. There is a carbon torsion rod kit that I will mount to adjust the stiffness of the stock ski. I don't like the tip of the stock ski flexing too much in deeper pow cause it shoots the snow straight up in front of me. Floating right it the path my helmet travels filling it/goggles with snow in the most blinding way. It flexes like that every time the snow is just right. Especially in deep and damp Cascadia style powder. I am not a fan of the additional drag the tracker kit puts on the front end in powder, either. Unless we had only hard pack all the time, I would leave it off if I had one.

I want to try the regular simmon's flexi ski but not the genII wide body. The Flexi idea seems good for Hawks as well as sleds. Its stock on the 2moto isn't it?

unsure

I am looking for the stock hawk style 136 for my bros. 800. Has 144 that i want for mine. So up for sale is 151 and zx2 extension.
I also had the gen 2 on mine and could not turn tight circles at all just slid out all the time. with stock ski I could spin around a parked 2 ski all day on the 800 that i rode last year. I love the flotation of the gen 2 but nothing else at this point. any one else tried the gen 2 with good results.

Are you sure the inability to spin chitty's was not the extra track length. It seemed to me that the 136" track was more manuverable than the 151". did you run the genII ski with a shorter track?

The cut down track works great, you can't tell the difference. They are easy to make, but then again I'm poor and have to do some fabbing to save movey.

stock

I put the stock ski back on when in cooke city and could not believe the difference between the chitty whippen difference. I'm sure the longer track makes a diff. which is why i want a 144 again. the gen 2 just seemed to slide out and not ever hold to the ground. maybe it needs better snotrackers which I will make and give a try.

The snow trackers I got with my genII are He!!a huge, and long. When did you get you GenII ski?

track

the track is for my bro. Don't wanna be to cheap but its his money or lack of at this time.
I got my ski from simmons direct. 12in trackers and shallow. do you have any pics of your ski?

I've got a cool mount for the simmons ski.
This lets you use the twin axis mount, keeps the correct ride height and also gives you about 5 inches of forward or back adjustment.

They are about $70 ea.
