Hey im lookin for tips and tricks to make the 08 m1000 work the way it should when i bought it it was sping so we broke it in in hero snow so it seemed great climb anything and go anywhere i wanted and some i didnt but last winter in the powder a crossfire 7 153 and m7 153 were out climbing me and couldnt even compare to the 09 m8 153 i know this sled should work better than it is iv got a y pipe stinger and did the computer reflash just picked up a boondocker air/fuel ratio gauge and just put in m8 diamond drive any help would be greatly appreciated
 
If you are getting your *** handed to you by 700's you have some clutching issues. I would do some reading up on clutching and find out what is going before you throw anymore money into power mods.
 
clutching is key, you should be running between 7200-7400rpm, are you. Where do you ride and what elevation. A powerclaw is the best upgrade.
 
Definitely agree with the other guys on here. First thing I would change to the Powerclaw. After talking with other guys I changed out mine and noticed a huge difference in the powder.
 
Powerclaw is the best upgrade I did on mine, but running an 046 belt instead of the crappy stock belt made a 200 rpm difference too. 200 rpm is a world of difference on the hill.
