LOOK at this Apex clutch! Opinions?

This is a NEW secondary on a boosted Apex running around 15 psi boost. It has a shockwave helix and a cat green spring in 1 and 6. The shockwave is 3 turns from the bottom. This did not happen over time, it was running about 10,500 rpm's and in one climb it hacksawed the clutch. Please any help or opinions would be useful.

Secondary spring weak or too soft, use cat purple secondary spring, set as stiff as possible. 1 & 0

yup it is amazing how fast you can cut metal with rubber.like aa said cat purple or alpine black spring.

not enough belt presssure and too much hekix angle been there done that, 3 turns out is about 54 degrees onyour helix way too much, start about 47 degrees and and work up if it wants more slowly. I run 47 and it works good.

That's caused from slipping, too weak of spring or both too much angle,,,,best way to not spend any more money on that is to sell it,I'll give give you,,,,tree-fiddy,,,maybe fo,,,or detune it,you're making too much power,,,,ya that's it,,,

When you're hitting the hill,,if the RPM goes up and the speedodmeter goes down,it's slipping.

I would change your secondary spring at least once a year, they get weak, I would personally change every 1000 kms. I am going to try one stiffer that the cat purple.
