Friday we spent in Castlegar with the Crazy Kanadian. Went up with a bunch of guys but 2 didn't make it in due to sled issues. The road had a massive mud slide across it but have no fear, I wanted to sled so I drove across. Everyone else tore through skags sleddin up the mile or so to the snow.. Can't wait to get back in that area next year (or maybe this year eh Dan, hint, hint).
Saturday in Revy Paul, Whalen and Travis from Impulse, Laird, McLaren, Render (and his group) and Cpt Ron rode. It was great ending the year off (maybe) on a high note. The boulderdome saw some action. Whalen was flat tearin s**t up. He climbed the monster and McLarens Mile, both in extreme style. I thought I had the video of his insane climb out the mile but I missed it. Stanger climbed the monster and the mile as well. Travis climbed the mile and took the steepest line out the top. He was goin about 10 miles an hour when he turned the corner and he needed every bit of 16 lbs o'boost on that apex to crest the top. The snow was setup hard with only about 4 inches of soft on top and ice in the shadey areas. Sunday the entire crew took a ride to a "secret area" that is gonna produce some sick pulls next year. The 90 was climbed by 4 guys (Paul, Render, Whalen, Stanger) and Laird and Stanger pulled Swenson Street.
