March Climbin Pics! Caslegar and Revy!!

more pics...

OK, ..Im going to try this again, ..with some long distance assistance from Laird, ...hopefully I have this sorted out.

I'll try posting a pic of Render, ...I don't recall exactly why he decided to park the JYD in the throat of the Monster, ..but he did, ..somehow he convinced me to hike down to help him turn it around...lol. This pic is looking up at him from my holding position on the JYD, ...note the peeps at the top looking down!!! Thanks for the large Appletons Shane...lol.

Here goes...

a re-do...

Thought that I would try this again, as I had lost some clarity/quality with it before.

Staying with the March theme....

...How about March 2006, ...Laird before BOOST!!!! ha ha, he actually didn't look that much different from this angle...lol.

RobsPictures2075.jpg

..allbeit, ..it wasn't a narrow and confined chute, but there are similarities.. ha ha.., ..enjoying the sunshine above Pebble Beach, Turtle area.

awesome pics guys...the only thing that comes to mind is that I would have to wear one of those "If you can't run with the BIG dogs...stay on the porch!" That was WAY too extreme for my tastes....except the bikini...I could handle that ride.:face-icon-small-ton

another pic...

Taken with my small canon, not the quality of Laird's Nikon, ...but it definately doesn't slow NM down, ..Neil charging a climb in the deep fresh!!

Last weekend in Revy...

Last week's foul weather had brought a whole lot of fresh deep powder back to our hills around Revy, we were all getting anxious to get back out there and check it out. At the same time, we were still un-nerved from all of the Slide Action that occured in March, ..so with respect for Safety, we headed back up for our first ride in 3 weeks. We of course consulted with CAC reports and did our own investigating. We still opted to stay away from anything big, or steep, and were wary to say the least, paying attention for any movement.

That being said, the snow was deep, ..very deep, ..awesome champagne powder, 3' deep and flowing over our hoods, with total blue skies on Saturday, ...yeeeeeehaaaaaawwwwww!!!!!

As i said, we exercised restraint and stayed away from the big stuff, so my pics are not quite as exciting as usual, but some good group photos and fun playing shots.

Group shot at the Superbowl.

Incidently, ..it was a fantastic day of course, ...we rode all day and never saw any snow/slide movement whatso-ever. We didn't encounter any tracks beyond the Sugar Bowl, just fresh POWDER.... Most of us ran out of fuel before the end of the day and had to beg & borrow gas. Thanks to all.

Pics from Turtle on Sunday

The group rode Turtle on Sunday, again still respecting Safety by staying clear of the big stuff, ..no big chute climbing again today, ..just safe fun in the spring Powder.

Snapped a few pics of Paradise on my way down from Boulder on my last ride of the year, what an awesome way to end the season, 3 ft of pow, sunshine and great company. Couldn't have asked for better snow conditions, Saturday was one of the top rides of the year for sure. Thank you guys for a great weekend, see you next year. Cpt Ron, see you soon for some :beer; & :fish2:
