Near 60 here today, but that's the front range at low elev. Today is the first day the snotel on Buff went above freezing in a week, and that was 40 degrees and only for a few hours. We're not losing much base (6" in a week, from 111 to 105, whoopee) and the snow in the dark trees is still nice and soft. Just cuz the 3" in your yard is gone, has nothing to do with what's happening at 10K'. Get a grip fellas, we'll be riding pow again soon! I hope!!!!

Sorry, just getting depressed sitting at home being Mr. Mom. No offense, but it drives me crazy.
It is not the 3" in my yard that worries me, it was the 10' pile of snow that I had shoveled into the corner of my yard as a guage. If the damn CDOW/BLM would let is ride out back, I would have had the dirtbike out already. Frigging deer and their birthing grounds!
lol...hey thanks again for the quick clickers,,finally put them on and used them this weekend. Rode some different areas that had a lower elevation and needed to turn them down. Worked great.
and................there WILL be more snow!!!

Is it a permanent closure or just a few months? Any bambi dropping now won't make it. They don't start around here (7500') until May and into June. Bambi just sits in a bush for the first month anyway. People just love to "anthropamorthize" animals. Bambi could pretty much care less about a dirt bike or vehicle until hunting season. They get smart quick then!
Yeah but the liberal whack jobs at the BLM don't realize that. There is hardly any snow out there, even on the north slopes and it is dry as a bone, but NO, we can't ride out there till late April. Probably gonna try and hit Bond or McCoy here in a week or so. I gotta fix my bike and my brother's bike.
CDOT shows up right on Q, a day late and a $ short.
Wouldn't make sense to plow the lot until several rigs are already stuck and half the lot is blocked off. They haven't been in here since the foot and a half fell on Monday! Really going out of their way to be anus' this year. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to shovel for 3 hours you caulks. You guys get the pole smoker award.

Big surprise there! I'd bet ya money that CDOT has cleared the skier parking though. The CDOT azzclowns only plow the sled lots when they think that the Mayor of the MC lot is gonna start a collection to grease their lazy azz palms.
