Live on Rabbit Ears

Hmmm Where is that.. Sure its steeper than it looks, but that right chute looks do-able?

Can't see it in the pic, but there's a 8' ledge/bump about 2/3 up, it's just in shadow with a little spruce at the top of it. it's about vertical and would change your direction a bunch  Kind of looked like you could sidehill and skirt the ledge on the right and do it...maybe. Got the sled running, I take it?

Snowed and blowed hard all day:D

hoya hoya. just got your message pink panties :)

Finally, look who shows up! We thought that you had dropped off the face of the Earth.

No kidding, I think all that impulse turbo power had him scared.

I heard rumors that Rotax, Rave and the lil' bro would be back on the snow this weekend. Only a matter of time till he was back on the forum.

I dislocated my throttle thumb last weekend, (no joke). I'm hoping it feels good enough to catch up with the SW crew Sunday or Monday. I'd take a crack at that right side with Rotax, we'll probably catch some air on the way up on that ledge!

Yeah..the 'power' got me in the middle of a meadow on the best day of the week up in Wyoming. And the power ripped my ski damn near off the sled. :P
Parts incoming, hopefully have it "rideable" for the ride, otherwise I'll at least rent a 600...

Get that throttle thumb back in business. Sounds like a painful experiance.

Ready to go!!

Yup, gonna get the family affair going again:)

ili' bro and I will get to Walden late Thurs. night and ride Buff or RE on Friday before the big hoopla at SLO. Sounds like we are going to hit it right as far as conditions go.

I'm Baaaack

Kind of a last minute thing, but it's nice to be back on the pass again...havin major withdrawls! :face-icon-small-dis Snowed like a mofo most all the way here, then petered out when I got close:face-icon-small-con A minor setback I'm sure:face-icon-small-coo

22 F and light rain...bwahahahhahaha, hasn't rained here since August:face-icon-small-win Snows on the way they say, but we got enough pow for plentyOfun as it is. Dropped my probe out by the sign on the trail. 80" to dirt:beer;:wine::face-icon-small-sho at 9400'. Been a good 2 months! 8" of fresh to the first tiny crust, but 2' to a base-like crust. Snotel shows it's been busy dropping flurries this week and it has been. Buff is leading the state pack again with 117" of fluff and 32.4" of precip. Been a good year, but more a little here and there than big dumps. Me and me old buds may get up to buff tomorrow, unless it's blizzrdy. Lot is nice and clear, and a couple fellow campers hangin out. Here til Sunday, stop by and roll a cold one:face-icon-small-ton

Banks are getting big, time for a Duke..aganza jump!

Not much chance of that, still in the parking lot! Last guy just showed up. Kinda nasty out. See ya tomorrow PJ.

Great shot of pow today. Windy but vis was ok. deep in the holes! Doo busted a spring in primary or something. Clutch would open than slam shut and chatter away? Hopefully a cat spring will doo. Sun is out now and snow/wind tapering off, 11 F. Tomorrow should be good :)
