You call that a drop. This is a drop....that you won't see my sofa going off of either. lol Area 54. Never seen any landings below these rocks.

About now, the getting back out would be a challenge.

yeah, but it was still a little thin back there. You could climb up and out thru that one chute but I would hate to come down and land on one of the many boulders back there!

I think Randy Sherman and Chris Brown has dropped them. I heard it hurt. That pic makes them look small. They're not small. When can we go Paul lol?

We'll have Bushy take us over there after the next dump. King sized makes the overlook seem like a bunny run.

we'll see if im up for that, I have been going up instead of down the last couple years. There are some good drops up near BP too.

Is the white cummins in your other vids on youtube your truck? Nice truck. :beer;

I went off of one about that size. The landing was so hard that I got bounced almost completely off. It cost me a new set of rails too.

I need someone that knows Buff well to show me around. I've hit stuff right off the road up there but bet there's better back in off the beaten path.

Thx yeah truck is mine. It's parked during the winter lol.

LOL funny how being there sorta changes the mindset a little. It would take a little looking around to find a good line but it's doable in spots. Getty up let's go

Miss a week and you think your superman!?! Have you been out in my garage today Dave? That is a solid 50+ vertical

I only count vertical because rider speed and hill angle change everything

overlook 15ft?

I'll make sure to have a claw hammer along to knock you out before you drop to your death:D A more dooable spot might be over the ridge to the east. There's another bowl with a steeper landing (area 54.2-B lol)

Hope to get up this weekend, maybe friday too. I'll take pictures and movies of you crazy mofo's. Gee, i wish I had a shorter track, then i could drop too:rolleyes: I'll stick to climing out of those holes:p

Overlook is bigger than it looks. you have 15 feet straight down to snow, probably 25+ depending where you go off and land. Least that's what I thought, maybe less?

Here's King Duke1N.

thats why I only count vertical ft...that is if you walked to the edge and stepped off how far would you fall.

About 25 feet! Either way, it's about 20 feet farther than I'll drop, but I'm too old to attend Duke U.

Here's that other bowl East of 54. Saw a few old tracks but it's a beotch to get to and why would you want to! 4-20-06. Steep landing for ya. One day I did actually see tracks climbing out of here way to the left. Probably VOHK, I know he likes to play back there. It's been 2 years since I was in there, but I'm ready to go again:D

Looks like an easier way in/maybe out, but it looks worse in person!

After consulting the topo map I determined this was the easiest way out. lol
