Live Alaska..

I bought an XP last year actually 2 08 146's, sold them to a couple buddies to get them off some old poo iron:D
Was a bit put off with the new chain case and clutching on the XP, I'll wait for the next Gen:D

I have to admit..the 10 xp is alot nicer then the 8's and 9's were..

hey now..mines only burnt down once in 2700 miles..but it does get new computer giberish installed every few months.....
Ok well mine burnt at 2K, might think about doing the top end of my 144 while it's torn down, maybe a preemptive strike so to speak:D

Yeah that might be a good idea..now on the 07's do you have to pull them down and grease the bearings every so often or not?

I thought so..remember someone telling me that and I was like no way?....

Ditto

no seriously mike..on some of the doo' 8's you have to grease the main bearings every so often..dont remember if its on the R or HO motors...you might check with Adrenalin...

If you are at 2K it would probably be a good idea to split the case, clean and lube the crank bearings L. A. All of the 800 Rotax engines use ISOflex grease in the PTO and Mag bearings. The center bearings run in an oil bath.
