Little oil help

hey guys still really new too the forum hope this will be in the right place. I bought my sled a couple days ago and forgot to ask what kind of oil the other owner was running. The sled just has a tad left do I need to drain all the old stuff before I fill it with what im going to use?? Thanks guys
ps I tried searching but it didnt bring anything up.

you should be fine running whichever manufacturers oil matches your sled. And most if not all oil will mix fine so dont worry what was in it just add more. You should even be fine running any of the high quality aftermarket oils too. I run arctic cat oil and klotz back and forth all year depending what they have in stock.
