Lightweight Apex Hood from Alpine and CR Racing

Are the lightweight Apex hoods the exact same from Alpine and CR Racing? On the CR website the lightweight hood shows the headlights cut out and I thought the Alpine hoods did not? I was assuming that they both used the same hoods? Any info would help

there the same hoods you can cut em to your desire from alpine im not sure about cr though?

Jeff the Hood you have had the headlight area cut out.I know lots of snow gets in there but it keeps the temps down.Is the hood cracked?

Ya the hood is pretty much toast, and the tunnel is tweaked as well
Im going to be taking the sled up to Alpine in the next month or so for a new tunnel and tuning. I pm'ed powderlites regarding the new RB3 box and a few other items but havent heard back from him yet. Apparently from speaking to Alpine they have an updated header which is much better than previous in regards to hrspwr and cracking issues so I may get them to swap out the existing if its ***ged at all.

Yea I think I'm going to go with the new style CR, trying to decide on a colour scheme, thinking white with black accents All I got to do is find some time to get that sled up to Alpine and let them do their thing with it. You decided on a Turbo kit yet?
