I would love to know why they would use 2 different cranks? Were they cheaper or on sale at different points of engine assembly?
Why are you getting so worked up over this? He was trying to give you good information and you get defensive and preach hear-say as gospel.
The cranks are not different. The suppliers are different. Likely one supplier couldn't meet demand, so they use two. Not that uncommon in manufacturing when you source parts.
So far, all of the the lightweight cranks are Fuji (with a J).
I am checking with a very reliable source, I will let you know once he calls me back
It has been verified by a very trusted source, it is a Fugi. I might be able to get pictures tomorrow
Ya that will be biggest mistake is giving too much input, I came from a 06 800 summit rev to the pro and I hated it at first but then I realized how much less effort I needed and the rest is history! The reason there is so much negativity towards Pro rmk motors is its the only garbage people can dig up to hate on them, but when it's the best mountain sled in all conditions your going to catch alot of grief! Heck not even LeBron James can get away from haters, there is always somebody trying to piss in the cheerios bowl of the best.
I do not know if they will have the same part number, but being that it is the same motor they should be the same as the 15 Rush in the Axys chassis. That part number is 2205648. Once we get a parts fiche for the 2016's, I could possibly tell you more!

I would also recommend when you do your engine rebuild, finding cylinders from a 2013-15, if possible as they have thicker walls and better skirts than the 11-12.
You will need to machine the upper case half if you plan on doing this.
