Life Long Polaris Guy went to Ski Doo

I have been riding a Polaris Snowmobile since 1968. I just made the switch to Ski Doo. Just took advantage of the great prices and purchased a new 2009 Summit Everest 800-163. Can you please post some tips on the correct setup that the dealer can do before I pick it up. I live in Minnesota and I ride twice a year in Cooke City, so it is off trail riding only. Thanks!!!

rode poo for 27 years till 2004 myself--when they build a better sled i'll go back, maybe--dealer means a lot---for out here we have a 09 163 and run 2008 hollow pins[10.9gm] and everything else stock except we have a Shockwave reverse angle adjustible helix--we absolutely love the 09 clutching with a little adjustibility of the helix---we ride 8500-10000 feet

Hey Steve'o! Welcome to DOO! Hit up your "neighbor" BIG JOHN. He's a Minnesota guy and a Doo guy and rides Cooke City with his Mountain stuff. Nobody can get you closer than that:D Enjoy that XP:beer;

Congrats!!!!!

regrets what ??

why do some have to make the "regret" post

i saw some advice on here a few days ago:

cat?doo?poo?yami?......they are all good.....buy what you feel most comfortable riding and go with it

i agree......buy what is better.......why buy a POS just because you want to be brand loyal?

especially when sleds are 10K +

Let limiter strap out, run center shock tight and play with your bar position it makes a huge difference.

Hey freekweak pi$$ off unless you have something constructive to say!!!

Thought about it all day,and I wish to apologize to steven baar. I hope your new sled runs great for you-who am I to let my bad luck ruin your good fortune. Runner hard and have fun!! And as for catmydoo Iwill give you that one but don't let it go to your head. SETTLE DOWN!!!
