With the snow level going up to 6k its going to be big mess for sure,I am with fordman and go out the bottom. There is a way:beer;

All you 4x4 guys are cracking me up:D

You really think that you could pull that Snow Cat out with a 4X4:confused:

That rig is 10+ times the weight of your little 4x4's. If you could find something to anchor to and had about 10 pulleys to run the cable back and forth thru--Just maybe---but then you have the issue of getting in that far---put on tracks. Add a 40,000lbs winch:light:

And I have done my fair share of sticks and unsticks---this is not a job for a truck---LOL

You all have great intentions--But it ain't gonna work. Bummer.

H20SKE...

anybody who knows anything will tell you the same thing. if you read what i wrote we agree. the weight is a non issue if you anchor the rig/rigs to the large tree up the hill and have the right amout of pulling strength. simple physics. i also stated the rig would need to move under its own power. i guess the tracks are thrown? if not, do like the other guy says drive it out the bottom. anchor it, pivot, release, and drive it down. much easier than pullin it up. why argue about stupid stuff on the internet. none of it makes any difference to anyone because it's not our problem. i offered my help. next time i'll let the internet cowboys handle all the stuff everyone is such an expert on. one word of advise i wouldn't assume things about anyone, cause most of the the time you'd be suprised that there might be someone out there that just might know a little bit... i try not to. i bet you guys know way more about being an internet hero than i. esp. you fordman. i'm sure your amazing $15,000 dollar truck could fix it! i know i'm impressed. lol. just playin with ya;)
