lets see your sweet zx's!

Noy a whole lot of bling bling but I try to keep it spotless as you can see from the under hood pics. I have added an 8" articulating bar riser with Renthal bars (waiting on grips to show up). I also added RER which wasn't available in 2001. Other mods are 159" Camoplast track w/SLP rail extensions and custom tunnel extension, red chrome windshield, red hood vents, MBRP trail can.....

Mine is in the middle of a rebuild. I am going STEALTH! There isn't a stich of yellow on my ski... no snow flap, shock spring, reflectors etc that have any yellow on them!

All black and chrome! Billet shocks, p/coated t-arms and custom gas rack, boss seat, black risers with fly bars, all black hood/windshield, split second twins, team clutch, air vents and other stuff. It will look sweet. Should be done in a month and will be posting pics.

I took my vents out and painted them silver. i never close my vents so it doesnt wear off. it is not a hard or long task maybe 45 minutes.

Those are pretty sweet!!!!

Your stealth idea is gonna look really cool!!!!

Thanks dude... coming together nicely! My buddy should be polishing my tunnel and clutch cover soon (this ain't your average mother's job here... he does it professionally!) Here is an example of a good polish job from my last sled!

Looking forward to the boards sneck!

Thanks......just good old fashion elbow grease....I actually picked up some new pipe covers on eBay last year cheap and kept them looking good with steel wool and some chrome polish. I found it is much easier to clean it frequently than to do it once a year. I also repaint the pipe and Y-pipe every year to keep it from rusting....Sled has 3400 miles on it too!

Sweetest ZX ever, I wish I still owned it after looking at the pic.

My Summit

My Sled some big changes for this coming year including a 600 ho sdi with turbo. Should be a nice departure from the rotary valve carbed turbo.

Also going to a mesh hood and probally gonna pickup a black belly pan. They yellow is to darn hard to keep clean.

Alright, most of you have seen it already. Grill on the tail and all. Sorry, but there's a new XP in the garage now. I will say, it was the most dependable sled I ever saw. Just one breakdown, probably my fault. It would have taken another $3-4K to get it down to the weight of a stock XP. I'm keeping it though.
