I watched in amazement one day about 10 yrs ago as my chumm did just like Kippers pics. He was riding a new style '97 Pol with that front bumper that likes to grab stuff???
(well - it's that sled in post #92)
I was standing on top of a little knob just like the one in those pics and he was apparently planning on git'n some air or ???
It was all off camber of course and he was hanging off the side carrying that other ski - had that little 600 would tight _ just a git'n it eh?
And I just have no idea what he's thinkin' as there is a slight dip in the topography just before this hill, and that sled WILL nose-dive into the snowbank. I jist know it!
So he comes screaming up there for all that little 600 was worth and plowed headfirst into the snowbank at ??? maybe 30 KPH? I mean - it was plenty fast for a face plant, but not like he was going 100mph or anything...
The sound goes from full-on screaming trippple to _____ nothing _____ except me laughing untill I cried!
Little plastic parts rolled up the hill to my feet as well - just egging me to laugh even more!
But then he didn't move .... NOTHING moved for quite some time. I sure hope he starts to move soon b/c I will feel bad later if he's dead while I'm bawling my eyes out in laughter!
Finally he started to move, but he had busted his little clip on his Bell helmet. So we stuck a drywall screw in it. A few yrs ago he had to put a screw in the other side too.
He still claims to this day that he couldn't see that dip from where he was at. Flat light or whatnot I guess....
Oh - I love
The Good Times!
