This is my new 2008 M8 Snow Pro, 0 miles. It is bone stock but I'll bet it is quite a step up from the 1998 600 Powder Special I rode last year. I can't wait.

dmkhnr, that hood is sick! I love it!

have you weighed the hood yet?

I didn't weigh the hood, as its main purpose was to let heat escape. Its a stock hood that was cracked. I stripped it,repaired the cracks, swiss cheesed it, covered it up with mesh/tiny LED light, stock gauge, and windshield.
It probably weighs 6# and still hinges and straps in stock location.
I'm about $50 into it with light/mesh/rivets/can of black spray paint.
