Glenn's sled really didnt change to my knowlage (chassis wise) It was slammed to the ground with that little 144X13.5" wide EXT track (1.5" paddle maybe) still had the studs in it from the grass drags!!! Runnin only 16lbs of boost!
Apparently track speed still can get you up a hill just as good as a big footprint/paddle can! If they would have raced over the top instead of going 3/4 of the way due to the huge cornice at race bowl he would have passed linderman easy! Or the same scenario would have happend at the parking lot also.
So what you are saying is that my TReX with a finger track a 99mph boost only track speed would still climb? WOW Whooda thunk it.......

this thread is bringing good entertainment... the part that bugs me about this chute climbing is that the same people are doing the same chutes over and over again, and they know where to go to climb it, and have allready made there mistakes before and have learned what not to do. now the new guy goes up lets say monster makes a mistake because he hasnt climbed over it like the following people have a dozen times and now he is a complete fool who has no chance in winning the title. imo the guys that have climbed these chutes over and over again should have to climb new stuff if possible or at least do something crazy to win the title. but no they will just sit back and brag how great of a climber they are yet they probably wont climb a new chute because they look much better conquering the ones they allready have done.

This could not be further from the truth! Revy is not my back yard and most of the chutes that I have cimbed in Revy I have only been over once or twice. Example Monster 1 time on borrowed sled, Maclearn's Mile 1 time Gibb's Gash twice, Ermin's arm 3/4 of the way three time's. 90 1 time and 1 time half way, Angry Pirate 1 time. So to say we climb these chutes a million times is not very accurate. But don't worry I am sure there will be a few new one slayed this weekend.

Just saying that glenns little grass drag sled was runnin right with some of the fastest "mountain" sleds around.
