I built this truck in 94..was for taking my family hunting and camping......It is a full tube chassis/cage, runs 4 linked /airbagged /14 in. travel rancho 9000 quad shocks on 1 ton axles w/ 5.13 gears, locker rear, posi frt,ZZ-502 with fuel injection and full roller valve train, only the outside skin of the original body remains..everything else is sheet aluminum, including the dash, opened all 4 wheel wells 10 inches to fit the 44in swamper boggers, and has 4 wheel disc brakes..sold it to a close friend right before I divorced..sure miss it...

Very sweet! Did you ever put it on a scale?

yes bg...weighed 6257 with 110 gallons of fuel...never really worried to much about the weight..had the weight very well balanced out on all 4 wheels...used to go out and play with the jones boys(orange rat on rice and canes) and used to follow them thru the swamps no problem...I built it for hunting and hauling *** out at eureka...still have my 20 in. narrowed dana 60's from my last race truck..one of these days gonna build a light hunting buggy..am thinking tube chassis..sheet aluminum body, and about 4500 pds..with either a 383 or a 6.0....
