Where abouts is this skyland you speak of? We will go down to Seeley Lake MT at least once a year, then up to Lolo MT, by Missoula

I believe Skyland/Puzzle Creek is between East and West Glacier, very close to the snow slip. It's sort of tricky to get into the good stuff, hence the name Puzzle Creek. We had a blast there last year over new years. Not to mention the Snow Slip has an awesome caesar!!

Well then, we will have to give that area a going over! As well as the CAESARS!!!!:D

UseTa - I definately recommend Skyland. It truly is one of those places that no one knows about and absolutely rocks for riding terrain! And its quiet there. Not much sled traffic

RJM is right, to get to the good climbing you have to follow whats called puzzle creek for about a mile. Not hard as there are tracks to follow through the tree's. The area is known as 'El Tigre' 'The-Back' etc...

We played one day just off the trails without even having to go to the Back. The boondocking is decent off the trails, but not many serious climbs to be found. Gotta head to the back for those. Climbers paradise !

Check out the Skyland thread in the 'Montana' section for more info.
