Lesnar looked REALLY good !

You gotta hand it to Herring.
The fight was basically over 5 seconds into it, but he stood in there & took a helluva beating
for 15 minutes.

He took that beating like a man, how do you think those knees to the gut felt OUCH ! ! !

Brock has some attention now.

He still needs to improve the martial arts end of his fight though.
Taking a fight 15 minutes leaves way too many opportunities to make a mistake
similar to the one he made against Mir.

I was really disappointed with how classless he was after he won. He was the only fighter who wasn't extremely humble during their post fight interview with Joe Rogan.

Hopefully someone will pull Brock aside and tell him that's just not the way things are done.

I agree totally! He was a real loser in that aspect. He pushed Herring off at the end of the first round, and at the end of the fight he laughed at him and just plain acted like an arrogant wrestler. He's a moron and I hope somebody beats the $hit out of him soon. He should take his 2 and 1 record and go back to............as Joe calls it "fake wrestling!"

i thought that fight was boring! clinch and hugged him for 15 min! would have liked to see them stand toe to toe! gsp fight was awesome! fitch sure can take a beatin!

I thought the same thing.

But at the same time I wonder if UFC might actually enjoy that aspect.
It draws attention to the sport & likely pulls more "wrestling" fans who
obviously are willing to cough up $$ for PPV events, which is the lifeblood of
the sport.

The cockyness would have impressed me more if it were prior to the fight though.

I am sure this win is a huge relief for Brock. He had a lot riding on this fight.

It might have been a bit arrogant but how many people said he couldnt fight mma counted him out.You cant blame him for celebrating an important first win like that.Lots of guys do and did that tito, shamrock, even BJ to some extent.Besides I dont think he cares what others think its not a team sport.I thought it was a perfect night of fights except for Macdonalds fight its too bad he lost he was doing quite well.

He's a gorilla, ***gen fists are twice as big as anyone else. He has a chance to be real good if he tightens up his striking and improves his BJJ. He threw Herring around like a little girl.

I hope he does well, that'll bring in more fake wrestlers.

Arlovski sucks.
Arlovski has had some bad fights but
Arlovski far from sucks! You need to watch his last fight against BIG BEN Rothwell.

Round 1
Arlovski kicks to Rothwell's leg, throws a punch combination that doesn't land. Arlovski lands another kick to the leg, and Rothwell ties him up. Rothwell tries to Thai clinch, but Arlovski shoves him into the corner and throws a right out of the break. Arlovski is aggressive, not waiting back. Rothwell clinches again, but Arlovski trips the bigger man to the canvas. Rothwell tries to get up, and Arlovski attacks his ankle for a submission. Rothwell gets free and back to his feet. Again Rothwell initiates the clinch behind some punches. After separating, Arlovski lights up Rothwell with rights and lefts. Rothwell looks stunned, but he stays on his feet and recovers. Late in the round, Rothwell puts a right hand on Arlovski, but Arlovski clearly takes the round, 10-9.

Round 2
Inside leg kick from Arlovski to start the second. Rothwell lands a right, but Arlovski begins to score with right and left hands, pummeling a retreating Rothwell. Arlvoski get a takedown to mount, but Rothwell gets his guard. Three minutes to go in the round. Rothwell's nose is bleeding. Arlovski surprisingly falls back for an ankle lock that isn't close, and Rothwell takes the top position in the guard. He lands an elbow on the former UFC champion. Two minutes to go in the round. Rothwell drops some big elbow smashes that don't quite land cleanly. The fighters are stood with 30 seconds left, and Arlovski attacks with a brutal assault of left hooks and uppercuts, a head kick, a jump knee. He can't put away Rothwell, but he wins an exciting round, 10-9.

Round 3
Rothwell clinches to begin the third. Arlovski gets free a minute into the round and tees off. An overhand right crumbles Rothwell, and the fight is stopped. An excellent, aggressive performance by Arlovski. The official time is 1:13 of the third.

He is on his way back up.

Seems like everybody is a exUFC heavyweight champion anybody ever defend the title besides Corture or was everybody a one fight champ?
