lefty throttle

I put a tether on mine along with a goldfinger

I leave the lockout safety on mine always, when I need it I remove the pin and use it then I re-attatch the pin when I've gotten across that nasty area.

it's nice for slow technical stuff 2-3 times a year

if your always in the meadow then I suppose you don't need one, feel free to ridicule me from said meadow while I access that area you didn't know existed.

ive got a gold finger lefty and havent ever had a problem with it. I dont use it a whole lot but when i do use it its real handy to have. Its also nice for the trail ride back and the end of the day when your finger starts to cramp or something of the sort, just use your lefty

Lefty Throttle

Ya know, being in a wheelchair certainly changes all the rules. Being paralyzed from the chest down I cann't stand up and through anything. Therefore I wouldn't ride without one. My bud ways a huge 146 and at 40 years old not a big guy, he uses one also. I love mine, makes all kind of things possible for me and him.

Like BigD said, mount it verticle so you can only use one or the other.

I think this is the best mod besides a riser for newbies. This allows them to turn to the left w/o fighting the sled to death. I like the powermadd setup because the ease of installation and the lockout-pin it comes with.

I have NEVER grabbed the wrong lever.

Like everyone else has said, practice, practice, practice!!!!

lefty hand throttles are for people who cant really ride, like chicks and weak dudes, get in the gym and grow some muscles

  I can't ride??? Why didn't someone tell me? How come the guys I ride with didn't say something to me? I wonder what I've been doing out there in the backcountry, and HOW did I get there?

I use my left hand throttle pretty much every time I'm out. The only place I don't use it is on the trail. I do use mine to sidehill, and around the trees (lots of trees here, lots of technical riding). :)

As has been said, PRACTICE. When I first got mine, I left the pin in until I was confident in it's use. I went to a nice small bowl area, and practiced with it where it wasn't do or die. I did this on a couple of occasions, and after that, the pin stayed out. The placement is key too.

I'll put it back on you doubters.

The guys that dont like leftys never learned how to use them:D
