Lean midrange

I am running sibers kit at around 3000ft, attitude box, 8lbs with straight av gas. I have a really bad spot around 5000 rpm or whenever i get out of the throttle. I played around with this all of last year and had to have my topend replaced because of it running so lean. I have taken the yellow blue light all the way down to 1.5 i raised the fuel presure to 52psi, i havent had a chance to see if that helps. Any input would be appreciated.

Since it has not helped to mess around with the controller/fuel pressure, maybe theres something wrong with you fuel supply?

Have read about people having lean issues caused by plugged fuel filters.
But I guess this might not bee the issue since youre only having the problem in the midrange, but just throwing it out there:)

You shouold be adjusting the yellow. The blue/yellow determines how quickly the yellow comes on. You need to go up and add fuel not take it away.

I thought that there was a lean spot between green and yellow light, so I dropped the yellow and blue down so yellow would come on sooner. I have raised the yellow and green all the way and it still shows that it is lean. I have a aem wideband and it maxes out alot. I have no problems dialin it at wot.

is this a lean spot you can feel or are you seeing lean reading on the AEM I see readings in the 15-17 at low throttle settings even 13-14 at cruise then 12-12.5 wot and closed throttle it will go way lean ,,normal,, and my base fuel pressure is about 45psi at 10-13K

Polaris's latest map

Has anybody run polaris new map? My dealer told me that there new map is supposed to clear up the midrange lean spot.

Yes, I am just seeing it on the wideband, I really don't feel any lean spot. The wideband will bounce off the --- whenever i am just cruising. Is this normal?

When i start my sled up i have a yellow light that flashes on 3 and 4 and then it goes to solid green on 1, I have the 3.25

I think its just the aem gauge that's playing tricks on us. Put the stock numbers in the box and redo your tuning, right now you are probably detonating because your mix is way too rich.

If you have the green and Yellow all the way up and its not blubbering and fouling plugs then you need more fuel pressure try 50psi and see if it starts acting rich ???and how many flashes on the CEL

i have same problem got it dialed in at wot but 5000 to 5500 my aem gauge goes way lean. if i ease in to it it would litterly cut out and stop. i used to have pink exhaust springs before i went turbo, put stock in and helped a lot but gauge still reads way lean in that spot but does not cut out as much. suscks cause its either wot or say below 5000 rpm.

My lean midrange is from 5200-6600 rpm's. The sled will cut out or stumble and the AFR gauge is 18+ (dashed out). The lean spot starts in the green circuit and continues throughout the entire grn/blu circuit. As soon as I go from the grn/blu circuit to yel/blu circuit, the AFR goes from --- to ~12.0. You can definitely feel the power increase in the sled when the fuel gets added.

Current setup:
1,000 feet elevation (Minnesota), 20* F air temp
'09 Dragon 800
Attitude Ind box v3.25
Sled was updated 4/15/10 with new flash, pistons, head, crank
Straight 110 race fuel until I get this tuned
Intercooler
40 psi fuel pressure (tried 38 and 42 psi as well)
