Latest proof that Obama's Anti-American

I agree with you 100%, the reason McCain will get my vote is because Obama's stance on Energy, Foreign Policy, Immigration, and Social Issues scares the bejeezus out of me. Socialized medicine does not work, hasn't worked and all of a sudden isn't going to start working any time soon. There is a push to get the homeless to be registered to vote, how in the world could you keep people from registering as homeless in every city/state? The uneducated are out there and it's not just their voting that scares me but there isn't much you can do.

There isn't much difference between Obama and McCains policy about immigration.

From that article:

Candidates' Positions

McCain: In 2006, McCain co-sponsored the Senate immigration bill that would have legalized millions of immigrants in the U.S., strengthened border control and created a guest-worker program. As a presidential candidate, he has since said he believes in securing the borders before legalizing immigrants. He also backs what he calls a "sensible" guest-worker program for workers who are in the country without legal status and has callled for strengthening penalties for those who hire undocumented immigrants.

VERY GOOD

Obama: Obama voted for the Senate immigration overhaul bill to strengthen border controls, create a guest-worker program and legalize millions of foreign workers here now. Obama also backed the Secure Fence Act. He co-sponsored a bill to allow states to offer illegal immigrants in-state tuition.

WTF ! ! ! NOT SO GOOD ! ! !

Enough of a difference for me!

As for the instate for illegals...
info on instate

fox news side

note that it seems that the ruling just defines the what states can do and clearly defines the law. It is the states choice to offer it or not. The bill just allowed for the states to choose how they want to answer the tuition question. I think you are implying that it automatically gives instate tuition to all illegals, which is not so. It is a STATE choice.

I am all for giving states more power..

To a point, there are some laws/powers that states should not be able to decide. Look at the problem with California (San Francisco to be exact) and the Safe Haven that they allow illegals. States should not be given the latitude to allow illegals in-state tuition, why should an illegal get in-state tuition and a US citizen from another state NOT?

I don't agree with giving illegals instate tuition at all. It doesn't make any sense to me. Though I would need to research more to see if it is a blanket policy for all illegal immigrants in a state or if it is used as a type of scholarship.

The bill made it EASIER for states to provide in-state tuition to illegals. If the state had the power to make the choice in the first place, why do we need the Feds to tell them it's O.K.? Sounds like more BIG GOV't. to me. If they are illegals or 'undocumented', what are they doing going to college here? They are not underage/under thier parents care they are adult ILLEGALS.

That is why you were to read the "info on instate" link that I posted.....

I completely agree, but being in a room where everyone doesn't like what you are doing might give you pause about your situation.

I agree the UN has no power against those countries with Veto power, but I guess what options are there for the UN then? ..... I guess nothing..

So what he is saying is why bother even trying, we should all just ignore the situation and maybe it will go away, oh lookie the Olympics are on. :D

I pray that obama does not win. Putin will make him look like a fool. Foreign affairs are the biggest issues. Russia is threating to squeeze the trigger on Poland. Ouch. Who the hell cares what the price of gas is when Nuclear fall out is landing.
