Late Spring/Summer Rides

Anybody still riding in SE Idaho? We went on 5/28 in Island Park and were able to play around a bit. It's still nice just to get out. Is anybody still riding anywhere else near bye? I'm curious if you could ride from the top of the Teton Pass. There was quite a bit of snow there last time I was there a couple of weeks ago. Thanks!

Should be able to ride the Phillips pass area.
Have you been there before?

It's not a big area but it is quite fun.

To get to Philips Pass you have to go over the Teton Pass and park about half way down the Jackson side. There is a wide spot in the road just before that last hairpin corner. You park there and head back up the hill about 2-300 yards. Take the road headed north/uphill and there it is. You can only head north about 5-6 miles, west about 2 and east about 2-3. It isn't a very big area but there's tons of hold and draws to play in. You climb upbringing the top of Glory slide and look down at the roadway below.
It's actually a pretty easy to ride other than a couple good climbs if you want to get past the first big bowl.

Rode from the top of the Immigration parking lot to Bloomington Lake on Saturday June 4th. The lake is still frozen over and plenty of snow to ride. July 4th is looking like a real possibility this year.
