late april riding?

Looking to come out to wyoming from april 26- may 6. This is my only vacation this winter unfortunately becides weekends. Would it be worth it?

We rode Memorial Day last year, no problem. One of the deepest days I've ever rode was in late April, course that was several years ago. You never know, could be powder, but more than likely spring conditions.

The way the snow is now it should be good riding through June!! We rode from Lake Marie the second weekend in June last year and had tons of snow on the west side of Medicine Bow peak. You shouldnt have any issues here this year.

The snow will be great in April. I have ridden until the end of June for the last 3 years both in the snowies and the Madres.
In fact on June 13 last year we had to go rescue a buddies sled that broke down on April 3rd. We kept on getting snow storm after snow storm that buried the sled. It was impossible to get out even with the big turbo sleds.
Several times when we would go check on the sled we would have to search and dig for the sled to remark it!!
It even snowed on us while we were getting the sled out.

So yes the snow will be awesome in April!! and May!! and June!!

We came out last May. it was the end of May even and you should have seen the looks we got from people when we were leaving Wisconsin with sleds loaded at the end of May. We had powder over the hood in the end of May you wont be disappointed. Have Fun

Anyone know about the Continental Divide area in particular? This is where we normally ride and we are planning a trip first week in March (possibly). Last year early January was crap until we went to Tog. Hoping spring might be better.
