Eco Boost

Tell me more about the eco boost. Its a V6 right. Running down the freeway will it really get 23 mpg ?

I am a sales rep and have been running CNG trucks but I have been thinking about this if it really is good as advertised.

I rode a total of right around 100 days and about 2700 miles but almost all but about 10 of those were working. Snow sucked for the most part besides just a few days I can remember. Ontop of that I probably managed to get around 500 sleds unstuck haha. Oh the perks of being a snowmobile guide.

On a positive note:
Snow will melt fast and single track will be exposed soon.:face-icon-small-win
Wasn't able to ride the bikes till late July last year. Will be riding first of May this year.

1 bike riding all day= $5.00:face-icon-small-ton
1 sled riding all day= $50.00:face-icon-small-sho

Yup, I always look forward to the reduction in wallet rape that summer brings :p

Well we have managed about 700 miles this year in 16 days of riding. Averaged 43 Miles a day. But the first 5 rides in Nov and Dec were in about 6 - 12 - 24" of snow at best and that is it. Our group Lost 2 A arms, 2 rear bumpers a front bumper, a clutch 2 engines & 1 broken leg and ancle so far. :( But we had 3 new sleds that were bought in the last month because of my Pro I bought in July so that is a plus. :face-icon-small-hap

Last year by March 16th we had ridden 26 times. This year only 16 times so far. Last year we rode a total of 40 days. This year we will probably not even hit 20. We rode from Nov - July last year. That spans 9 months of riding. Now this year our rides really didnt start until Jan 21st and I think we will be done on March 19th if not March 10th depending on this storm that comes in this weekend. Nov and Dec rides sucked with hardly any snow so they really didn't even count, and I actually took out my wheeler 2 times in Dec and once in Jan. So really we have had since Jan 21st - March 10 that we have ridden 11 times. Only 3 rides in decent powder.
So really winter has only been here for 50 days. Jan 20th through March 10th. Last year we rode sleds that spaned 235 days. Nov 13th through July 6th. and I think we had more snow in our Nov- Dec rides last year than we have had all year this year.... Hold on let me check..........

Ok so I just checked my Alta snow chart history that I have been collecting since 2004 and I am right. This year to date it has snowed a total of 267" at Alta Ski resort. Last year by Dec 31st it had snowed 264"
By the end of March last year Alta had 565" of snowfall. Thats 300" more snow than we have had this year. Oh and we haven't even hit 300" yet this year. If anybody thought that it could not be worse than 2 years ago we have all been proven wrong. This has got to be the worst winter on record!!!
What really sucks is that we are now still 8 months away from the beginning of the next season. This is going to be a long summer.:face-icon-small-sad

That is depressing...let me cheer you up, want to go ride Monday?....if it snows

Yes I do want to go IF it snow enough. I am just not getting my hopes up just yet. Avy dnager will be thru the roof if we get a couple of feet though. Keep in touch though because I can see myself riding monday if the storm produces a decent amount of snow.

Ha ha ha been there and done that. I believe it was the year 06-07 that sucked bad too when I did the sled guiding thing. Worked up at snowbird that year and we only rode from after Christmas till the week after the Jackson hill climb. Snow was too thin after then. Pretty sad when the winter season is only 3 months here in the Wasatch.

went out today.. even if it snows two feet, it wont be enough. It will just be enough to cover the rocks and stomps to cause damage.. we have lost to much. i think. Be careful... :face-icon-small-coo

I agree with mex. Rode this weekend and came back through Logan. Sagebrush showing and rocks and stumps are out in full force.

Maybe you are too far north. There was over a foot at the Lake Creek Parking lot today....hmmm.

I picked a weird year for a late season vacation. Leave Wednesday for 11 days. Plan on attending the Jackson Hole Hill climb also. Meeting some Minnesota friends in West Yellowstone Wednesday.

Logan got missed... I changed the oil in the dirt bike and got the Harley out. Supposed to be 70 up here by the weekend. Can't believe my last ride is going to be March 11. Last ride last year was July 4th :(
