Went up for a quickie. Ran the road to the old warming hut then up to the tower. Ran across a newbie flying solo (as was I). Picked him up under my wing and ran him through a few of the simple trails and roads. We still need more snow. Lots of small tree tips sticking through. Dropped down the back side of tower to the lake. Didn't want to chance crossing the small draw at the bottom of the hill climb. Lots of trees on the hill. The snow looks good but has a nice crust on the top from thaw/freeze. Sorry no pics. There was nothing picture worthy other than the sun set. Hope it snows this week.
