lamberts 2010, 2011 season

Jay, good to see you're well enough to log in, I gotta ask you when you noticed things were going wrong and were in freefall :face-icon-small-sho just before impact :scared: did you get that "battery taste" in your mouth? Good luck on your recovery, workout your upper body while the leg is healing and get back out there.

To be honest I dont remember much from that day!

Wow, Glad you made it out and live to ride another day. You got a bright future ahead of you. Heal quick bud.

I gotta assume this is all on film?

January was an amazing month! We spent most of the month in wyoming. I have never really rode their so it was an eye opening and humbling experience to say the lease. I truly love that place now, but stay on your toes it can bite you hard. Here is a short clip of what we saw...

Did you hit a rock or something at impact...I have a hard time believing January snow could do that to a sled. I know the area and that is one awesome drop zone but I don't remember any obstacles too far down the hill.

It was a chute type drop, as you can see the take off is blind as you come out of a 500 yard climb so it was difficult to find my line and I was off 4 or 5 degrees is all wich put me over exposed rocks...bailed....landed feet first from about 30 feet up. Thats all I remember.
As for the sled, it hit the rocks as well.

Holy Sh*t Jay!! Was just wondering why I hadn't seen you signed up for a race and saw this yesterday. Glad you made it off that mtn. Heal up quick!

You're from NV, you'll be ok!!

BTW, where's the pics??!!

Take care Jay!

Sweet video. Jay, I'm glad you are 16 - at least your body will recover quickly. They would have just put me to sleep. It looks like your wrap is holding your sled together.

As some of you may know Idaho has been pretty dry since the first of the year. Well I have been traveling quit abit doing the one thing I love most Snowmobiling. I was fortunate enough to have been invited on a American Snowmobiler Mag. 2011 Mountain sled shootout. We went to the one and only Island Park to do the test. We had all four manufactures current year mountain sleds. We all had a blast, the snow was great and all the sleds shined. I cant tell you witch sleds won the "Deep Powder Evaluation" but I think you will all like the results. Look out for the March issue of the Mag. to read the full story.

I then went back east to Eagle River Wisconsin for a MotorFist press release on the new 2012 clothing line. I have never ridden on the elaborate trail systems before so I had a blast! The sleds flat out rip at sea-level, I wish my M8 ran that good in the hills. One thing about the east was the brutal cold temps. Out west I wear a long sleeve and a nice shell and im good to go. But we had temps. that dropped down to -20+ so I had to change thing up a bit. MotorFist hooked me up head too toe with their new gear and we did 155 miles and not once did I get cold. Great stuff!

Today the 208 crew went out to hit up some of the fresh that just fell. We had about three feet of fresh snow on the ground so we had a great day! Here is a little clip of what today looked like...

208 Productions is headed to the Afton Wy RMSHA hill climb. This should be a exciting race, we are going to film the carnage that goes down so stay tuned for a recap of the race.
